Breeding News

If you intend breeding this season the Queensland Harness Racing Festival at Parklands on Sunday 14 September is a must attend. See Queensland’s top stallion’s parade and take advantage of the $500 Voucher incentive on offer to purchase a service fee. Queensland Harness Racing has generously issued BOTRA with 30 x $500 stallion service vouchers to distribute to breeders booking a service at the festival.
(Vouchers will be given to each of the 9 participating studs and the other 21 will be distributed to the first clients booking a service commencing at 9.30 am one voucher per person.)

BOTRA - “Breeders Owners Trainers Reinspersons Association (Qld) inc”- Queensland’s leading industry harness racing body - supports the establishment of a national betting pool.

President of BOTRA, Terry Macdermott, said "Kevin Seymour’s suggestion that the Unitab, Supertab and Tabcorp pools should be united was an excellent idea. It will allow punters to bet with confidence with the expectation of a good return.”

BOTRA has over 500 members registered and believes that a national pool will increase wagering thus resulting in better prize money for members and the harness racing industry.
